The L.I.F.E Biofeedback System is used to determine the patient’s mind/body perceptions of internal conditions by identifying stressors at the electromagnetic level of the body caused by the environment, food, genetics, and lifestyle choices. The L.I.F.E system measures the electromagnetic reactivity in the body and compares these resonant frequencies with nearly 7000 known compounds, then provides feedback recommending naturopathic and homeopathic solutions, electro-acupuncture and meridian balancing. The L.I.F.E system creates an environment of wellness, balance, and harmony by integrating the body, mind, and spirit in a safe, gentle, non-invasive manner.

The lymphatic system is composed of lymph vessels, lymph nodes, and organs. These remove toxins and waste from the body and are crucial to maintaining a strong, healthy immune system. Stimulating the lymphatic system with manual lymph drainage supports the immune system, promotes detoxification, facilitates healing and helps chronic swelling.

Manual lymph drainage is a very light, superficial technique which encourages the circulation of lymph and is different from classic massage.

There are thousands of Chinese herbs but approximately three hundred are commonly used today. Chinese herbs are  a natural way to treat a wide variety of health concerns and can be taken in the form of a tincture, capsules, tablets, powders, or as a tea. As a nationally certified Chinese herbalist (NCCAOM), Dr. Hebert will customize an herbal formula based on the presenting condition and symptoms.

Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures used cupping therapy to create a gentle suction to the skin to treat pain and inflammation by increasing blood flow to the area. Rather than applying pressure to muscles like a massage, cupping therapy does the opposite as it uses gentle suction to pull the muscles upward providing a relaxing sensation.

Cupping loosens the muscles leading to decreased pain, increased flexibility, and range of motion. This treatment is also beneficial for the lungs and can clear cough and congestion from a common cold, chronic bronchitis, and asthma.

Once suctioned, the cups are generally left in place for about ten minutes or the cups can be moved gently on the skin which is known as 'gliding cupping' or 'moving cupping'.

Cupping causes temporary circular marks that turn red, blue, or purple. The skin discoloration can last a few days or up to a week but is rarely painful.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture originated in China over 3,000 years ago and is one of the oldest medical modalities in the world. Acupuncture is a safe, effective, natural way to promote the overall functioning of the body.  It is beneficial in the prevention of disease, to treat illness and pain, and improves overall health and wellness.

Acupuncture involves the gentle insertion of very fine sterile needles into specific points on the body. This process stimulates the movement of energy within the body thus triggering the body's natural self-healing abilities.
